Coastal Grit is a signature CGMA celebration honoring the strength, grit, and unwavering commitment of the Coast Guard community. This casual, high energy event brings together Coast Guard leaders, partners, and supporters to celebrate service—and to ensure those who stand watch never stand alone.
In 2026, Coastal Grit heads to Houston to honor the Coast Guard members serving along one of the nation’s most complex and vital maritime corridors.

What Is Coastal Grit?
Coastal Grit 2026 is all about Houston’s Coast Guard community — the men and women who answer the call, no matter the hour or the conditions. With stories of profound impact and the local flavor of Jackie’s Bar & Grill in Kemah, Texas. Coastal Grit honors the resilience, readiness and Texas-sized pride of those who serve along the Gulf Coast.

Admission to Coastal Grit is free, but registration is required.

Attire & Setting
This event will take place in both indoor and outdoor spaces. Please dress accordingly. Attire is casual—leave your uniform at home.
