Working Animal Grant

After years of dedicated service to the Coast Guard, the 18 working dogs that serve alongside our members deserve continued care and support in retirement. Inspired by Feco, a Hungarian Vizsla who served for nine years as a Marine Safety and Security Team canine, CGMA’s Working Animal Grant provides up to $1,500 per year for medical insurance to ensure these loyal animals receive the care they need in retirement. Additionally, the grant covers cremation expenses at the end of their lives, honoring their years of service and sacrifice.
