Honor a Coast Guardsman

Join us in celebrating the service and sacrifice of our Coast Guard community. Each tribute below was shared in honor or memory of someone who has served.

In Honor

Jody Burgart

Adam Chamie
Rear Admiral Chamie, class of 1996, current District 7 Commander, is one of the greatest Coasties of our time and I am honored to have served with him. Thank you, Mate, for standing the watch.

Eric K. Chapman
My dad, my hero, my reason why. I serve the Coast Guard community following in his footsteps. He wore the uniform and took the oath. I admire and honor his legacy with my own career serving the Coast Guard community through CGMA. He rescued during the Cuban Mass Exodus in the 90s, tended buoys, and served as a Civil Servant in Port Security developing policy and protections to defend our shores against threats. He is my hero and I have the privilege of being his firstborn and namesake. Love you, Papa!
