Auxiliary Uniform (Pilot Program)
Coast Guard Auxiliary members generously volunteer their time and expertise in support of Coast Guard missions, often purchasing required uniforms at their own expense. For new members, these initial uniform costs can present a financial barrier to participation and service.
This pilot grant helps offset the cost of required uniforms for Auxiliary personnel during their first year after receiving a Coast Guard Auxiliary Member Number. This is a reimbursement program. CGMA will provide a dollar-for-dollar match of eligible uniform expenses, up to $125, helping new members obtain the uniforms needed to perform official duties.
