For Coast Guard members stationed around the world, personal emergencies can lead to unexpected travel costs. When a family member faces a serious illness or passes away, CGMA is here to provide financial assistance for travel, food, and lodging—helping you be where you’re needed most.

Grant Availability

Thanks to a generous donation from the Bob Woodruff Foundation in partnership with Navy Federal Credit Union, partial grants may now be available for eligible members applying for this program. CGMA Headquarters will determine grant amounts and eligibility based on individual needs and circumstances.
