Financial Counseling Grant
Education and budgeting can make all the difference in your financial situation. If a member is unable to use financial counseling from Coast Guard sources, CGMA will pay for services from a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC).

Contact your CGMA Representative to start the process.
What's Covered?
CGMA will reimburse NFCC Member Agencies as follows:
- $25 for Debt Management Program (DMP) set-up fees
- $50 for DMP monthly maintenance fees, up to $600 per client per year
- $100 for non-DMP counseling sessions, up to $300 per client per year

- The Coast Guard Personal Financial Management Program (PFMP) is available to Active Duty, civilian employees, and reservists.
