When relocating outside the continental U.S. (OCONUS), it can take time for your privately owned vehicle (POV) to arrive. During this transition, CGMA is here to help with a loan of up to $4,000 to cover the cost of renting a car, ensuring you have reliable transportation while you wait.

Who's Eligible?

  • Members who have recently reported to a new OCONUS duty station (this includes all Coast Guard units outside of the continental United States including Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, Europe, etc. – regardless of overseas screening requirements).
  • Application must be within 120 days of reporting
